This turn of the century stone building in Old Montreal started out as residential building and later became a hotel. The mandate was to restore the street elevation while maintaining its architecture. The restoration had to be true to the times with a beauteous demeanor. This bungalow was in need of an uplifting extension. The living room was extended and a studio space was added. An 800 square foot rear extension was added, with a modern execution without taking away from its fundamental architecture. The element of sophistication was added, complementing its surroundings. The façade was in serious disrepair due to water infiltration. Every architectural element had to be removed carefully, studied, measured, and classified in order to ensure strict workmanship guidelines. Nouvelle terrace couverte sur une maison en brique à Lorraine, Québec. Cette residence amusante est toute pour l’aménagement exterieur. Une terrace tranquile a été ajouté complement la maison. L’espace a été rendu plus chaude et riche avec l’ajout de la pierre à la base des colonnes. L’espace était très serré mais ils ont voulus l’espace pour un bureau et plusieur espaces pour leur ssouvenirs d’art de ses voyages. La resultat a été une cuisine sophistiquée et moderne. Les armoires blanche en-dessous ont donné un sens d’un espace ouvert. Extension of family room and dining room The library area was modified, and a copper roof was added as well as diamond shape leaded windows to add to its charm. The multipurpose dining area was extended, and finished in a beautiful indigenous stone. This residence embodies grace, elegance, and exquisite aesthetics.
